Brian Harris
PresidentBorn In Moncton but brought up in Fredericton, Brian graduated from the New Brunswick Teachers College and worked for a major Financial Institution for 39 years and as a Branch Manager for 23 years.
Brian earned the designation of Associate of the Institute of Canadian Bankers and the designation of Personal Financial Planner.
Mr. Harris was on the Board of the W.G. Bishop Nursing Home for 4 years and sits currently on the Board of the Dr. V.A. Snow Centre as Chairman.
He sits on the Board of the Association in the hopes of sharing his expertise to help the sector in these difficult financial times.

Jean-Eudes Savoie
Vice-PresidentJean-Eudes Savoie holds a Masters in sports administration from the University of Ottawa as well as a Bachelors degree in physical education from the same institution.
Jean-Eudes taught physical education at the high school W.-A.-Losier, Tracadie-Sheila. He was a teacher for the Canadian Armed Forces in Germany. He also worked as Assistant Director in the multi-W.-A.-Losier.
Jean-Eudes became famous in the political arena when he was elected to the council of the town of Tracadie-Sheila in 2002 as a consultant and in 2004 as mayor of the municipality. He was president of the Forum of Mayors of the Acadian Peninsula as well as being representative of the Forum of Mayors to the Board of Directors of the Association of Francophone Municipalities of New Brunswick.
Mr. Savoie is now a lecturer at the University of Moncton, Shippagan Campus. He is a member of the board of the Villa St-Joseph de Tracadie-Sheila and regional representative in the NBANH. He is also president of the Alumni Association and Friends of Holy Family Academy of Tracadie-Sheila.

Ken McGeorge
TreasurerCareer Health Service Executive with many years of experience largely in senior management.
A wide variety of experiences has generated a breadth of perspective and knowledge of the health and social system; career commenced with work as a direct care giver which has yielded perspective that is somewhat unique. Current position involves giving leadership to a transformational agenda at the York Care Centre. We are setting our organization up to be the Centre of Excellence in Aging Care in Atlantic Canada and, as such, are trying to become a model of an excellent workplace, and source of consistently excellent service, and have discovered in the process that we are not running a nursing home; on the contrary, our mission is to give meaning to the lives of families in distress.

Louis Arsenault
SecretaryMr. grew up in Saint-Louis-de-Kent, and he holds a High School diploma from Collège Dominique Savio. He worked for Canada Post for most of his career, he had many positions including postmaster for a period of 37 years.
Louis is currently the mayor of de Saint-Louis-de-Kent, position he held between 1971 and 1998 and since 2004. He joined the Villa Maria Board of Directors as president in 1972, before the construction of the institution. He currently sits as Secretary of the Board of Directors of the NBANH. He really has our seniors to heart and he wants them to have the best possible care, provided by people who are trained to do so.

Marcelle Fafard-Godbout
Past PresidentMrs. Fafard-Godbout was born in Montréal and grew up in Saint-Quentin as well as in Saint-Léonard, in New Brunswick. She is the president of the Association since 2009
Mrs. Fafard-Godbout holds a Bachelors degree in Nursing from the University of New Brunswick and took classes in the MAP program at the Université de Moncton. She holds a CHE title from the Canadian College of Health Services Administrators as well as a diploma from the Canadian Hospitals Association.
Marcelle worked for many years in the N.B. hospital sector, as Director of Nursing Services and Executive Director. She chaired, among others, Foyer Notre-Dame-de-Saint-Léonard Board of Directors, the Fondation des oeuvres de l´Hôtel Dieu-de-Saint-Basile and the Conseil des Gouverneurs de l´Université de Moncton. She is a member of many other organizations in the health sector.
Mrs Fafard-Godbout brings to the Association an incredible wealth in the health and long term care sectors. According to her, the amazing care that was given to her by her grandmother made her want to take care of our seniors. The issues that are meaningful to her are the respect and the independence of seniors, care-hours, the training of care staff and decent infrastructure, especially one room and washroom per resident.

Roger Hébert
Originally from Moncton, Mr. Hébert holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from the Université de Moncton, the title of Chartered general accountant, as well as a Fellowship from the Canadian Association of Chartered General Accountants.
Mr. Hébert is Treasurer for the NBANH Board of directors. He also sits on the Employee Benefits Committee as Vice-president as well as various committees in the sector.

Debbie Walls
Since receiving her Diploma from the Bathurst School of Nursing, Debbie Walls has been actively involved in the health care sector.
Born and raised in Miramichi, she has successfully completed many different certificates and degrees since completing her diploma in nursing, which includes: Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Masters of Adult Education, both from the University of New Brunswick; and a Nurse Management Certificate from McMasters University.
She lends her expertise to a variety of organizations, such as the Gerontological Nurses of New Brunswick, the New Brunswick Catholic Health Association and Catholic Health Partners as well as the Nurses Association of New Brunswick among others.
Debbie is currently the Administrator at the Mount Saint Joesph Nursing in Miramichi and became a member of the Board of Directors in May 2010. We look forward to working with Debbie over the next 3 years.

André Savoie
Mr. Savoie is from Tracadie-Sheila, in New Brunswick. He holds a Bachelors degree in Leisure Studies from the Université de Moncton.
He also received a diploma in management of long-term care for seniors from the Canadian Healthcare Association d'Ottawa.
André has many years experience in the sector as Recreation assistant, Recreation director, Nursing Home Administrator and he is now the Administrator of the Résidence Mgr. Melanson in Saint-Quentin.

Cindy Donovan
Cindy Donovan is CEO at Loch Lomond Villa. Throughout her career, she has held a number of senior positions including Assistant Administrator, Director of Nursing and Head Nurse.
Cindy holds a Bachelor of Nursing degree from the University of New Brunswick and a Master of Science and Health Administration degree from the University of Michigan. She is a board member of the New Brunswick Association of Nursing Homes and a member of the Minister of Health's Nursing Resource Advisory Committee.
Cindy has held a membership on the professional advisory committee of the Regional Health Authority, Atlantic Health Sciences Corporation. She received the Rotary Vocational Award for outstanding professional contributions and the CCHSE Quality of Life award for a program developed within her organization.
Cindy's greatest strength is her sound knowledge of all operations and departments in a nursing home and her passion and belief that long term care homes must center on the individual resident's needs and challenges.

Michel Haché
Mr. Haché is from Inkerman, New Brunswick. He holds a Bachelors degree in Business administration from the Université de Moncton. Monsieur Haché was employed by the Regional Health Authority, which used to be the Hôpital Chaleur in Bathurst where he acted as purchasing agent, budget coordinator and then implemented a financial software system.
He is currently Executive Director of the Résidences Inkerman.
A member of the Canadian Purchasing Management Association, Michel was involved in various provincial committees, including the CMSL purchasing group.
Most of his volunteer activities surround the NBANH Board of Directors as well as the Knights of Columbus Père Docithé Robichaud.

Constance Power
Mrs. Power is from Bathurst, New Brunswick and she holds a diploma in Nursing.
Connie spent her entire career working in the general practice unit at the Hôpital général de Campbellon. She sits on the Board of Directors of the Campbellton Nursing Home since 2005, where she has been a volunteer for many years. On top of being a Board member at the Campbellton Nursing Home and the Association's, Connie prepares special meals and pastries for the Home's residents.
She sits on the Board of Directors of the Association hoping to improve the situation of residents as well as the recruitment and retention of nurses.

Diane Léger
Mrs. Diane Léger is from Dalhousie, New Brunswick. She holds a Bachelors degree in Nursing from the Université de Moncton and took classes in the Masters in Health Administration program at the University of Michigan. She sits on the Board of Directors of the NBANH since 2003.
Diane is the Executive Director of the Dalhousie Nursing Home since 1997. She also worked as an administrator at St. Joseph Hospital in Dalhousie, Nursing services and Assistant Director of Nursing Services at the same hospital.
As a volunteer, Mrs. Léger is involved in many committees such as the parents committee for the Restigouche Devils, the New Brunswick Catholic Health Association, the CHAC marketing committee, the New Brunswick Nursing Administrators Committee, the Canadian College of Health Service Executives. Since, 1978, Diane devotes her time to various causes in order to make a difference in her environment.
She sits on the Board of the Association because she takes a great interest in the long-term care in New Brunswick.

Kay Simonds
Kay Simonds, presently the Administrator of Carleton Manor, Woodstock has been in long term care administration for the past 10 years, 5 years of which was as the Administrator of Riverview Manor, Bath.A native of Carleton County, Kay is a graduate of Dalhousie University, Community Health Nursing. Her extensive and varied nursing career included obtaining additional certification in Adult Education and Long Term Care. Kay’s Community involvement is as a past Director of the Northern Carleton Hospital and subsequent representative on the Region 3 Hospital Board ,Past President of the Florenceville Rotary Club and present member of the Woodstock Rotary Club.
Through her appointment to the NBANH Board she looks forward to the opportunity to assist the Board and Government in identifying and integrating opportunities to address the challenges of an aging population. -
Pat Diotte
Mr. Pat Diotte was born and raised in Newcastle, New Brunswick and he graduated from Harkins High School in the same locality.
Mr. Diotte worked for Heath Steele Mines for over 25 years, acting as survey helper, surveyor and contract supervisor. He was also a member of the Royal Canadian Navy for 5 years. He then moved on to the Department of Transportation of New Brunswick as a Highway Supervisor for a period of 16 years.
Pat has devoted his time as a volunteer to minor baseball, minor hockey, the Newcastle Non-Profit Housing Association, The Miramichi P.C. Association, St´ Mary´s Parish Council. He currently sits on the Miramichi Senior Citizens Nursing Home and is the past president of the Association. Mr. Diotte was also a city cousellor for the Newcastle town council for a period of nine years.
He sits on the Board of Directors of the NBANH to learn more about the problems that the homes are facing throughout the province and to try to find solutions and bring the concerns of the Miramichi region to the Association.

Eldon Hunter
Eldon Hunter is a businessman from Douglas Harbour, New Brunswick, who has worked in industry and in government. He is currently the chair of the Board of Directors of the Mill Cove Nursing Home.
Mr. Hunter worked for 16 years in the power plant industry, mostly with Ontario Hydro Nuclear Division. He was then employed for four years with Michelin Tire in Nova Scotia in a managerial position prior to returning to his native New Brunswick where he started his own business.
He also worked in the provincial government for several years, as executive assistant to the Minister in the Department of Mines and Energy, then special assistant to the Minister in the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Department of Natural Resources and Energy.
Active in community and volunteer organizations, Mr. Hunter currently serves as vice-chairman of the Rural Planning District Commission and as president of the Grand Lake – Gagetown Liberal Association.
