Communication is key to working together with a united voice. This includes the Association's communication with each of you and also your communication with each other. The links in this section provides opportunities for virtual networking, as well as information on what is new in our sector. This is organized under the following links:
Announcements: This section contains general announcements for members.
Provincial Administration Meetings: This is where agendas, minutes and other information of this group are available.
Discussion Forum: This section is a tool for the members to have open dialogue about ideas, questions, ask for advice, share philosophies, or whatever discussion you would like to have! The forum is monitored to ensure that appropriate rules for productive communication are respected. Click on the Web Forum link for instructions. It’s easy to use, so enjoy!
Educational Resources: Any educational opportunity or resource is posted here, which includes workshops, conferences, webinars, or educational sessions in nursing homes that are open to everyone attending.
Human Resources and Labour Relations: These sections have links to the Collective Agreements; samples and templates of Legal/Human Resources/and Labour Relations letters; and a section for arbitration hearing results.
Publications and Resources: This section will have links to conferences around the country as they pertain to our sector, with links to the conferences sites/ presentation materials, etc. There is also links to allied organizations whose work compliments our own, such as the Atlantic Institute on Aging, Canadian Dementia Knowledge Translation Network, etc. This section also has links to organizations we have formally partnered with such as Morneau Sobeco, Shepell FGI, and Assumption Life.
