About Us

Membership Services

The Association staff and the Board of Directors work to provide the following services:

Advocacy
We are a voice on issues that impact the long term care sector in New Brunswick, through political and stakeholder advocacy, building relationships and partnerships, and development and presentation of position papers/ reports.

Communication
We strive to provide on-going two-way communication with our members to keep the members informed on association activities and the latest pertinent information.

As part of our advocacy role, we communicate as frequently as possible with those who have the ability to impact outcomes to ensure that our member’s interests are known.

Networking
Association hosted events and Association supported events provide opportunity for members to share information with each other and provide feedback to NBANHs.

We maintain membership in the Canadian Alliance for Long Term Care to interact nationally with colleagues from other provinces on areas of common interest.

Education
The Association’s Education Committee works to identify educational opportunities for our membership and methods of delivery.

We host an Annual Meeting and Convention that has an education focus.
